WE'RE ON!

Our existence has been immortalised by the occasion of having our song 'Milk & Stones' pressed onto vinyl -- a wonderful glossy-black-groovy-flat-round-thing!

It's a compilation called 'Collection Amplifée' made to celebrate 25 years of the contemporary art collection of the Musée Départemental d'Art Contemporain de Rochechouart in collaboration with Les Disques en Rotin Réunis. There's a 16-page booklet and LP with contributions from various musicians who wrote music for specific works in the collection (see photo). The Marnies 'Milk and Stones' is inspired by the work 'Pierre au Lait' by Wolfgang Laib.

The compilation's out there and can be purchased! It's already been bought by the Pompidou Centre in Paris for their collection, where the release party was at the end of last month. Not only catchy music, we are art too.
